An important element of any construction project – especially those in city centres – is minimising disruption of local traffic. And through trained traffic management operatives, dedicated traffic points/lights and crossings and segregated barrier walkways, we keep on-site traffic under control – and sites running smoothly.
Vehicle movements to and from a site can have a serious impact on nearby neighbours, local businesses, pedestrians and other road users. These movements can also affect local parking availability, traffic flow to the area, road safety and generally cause inconvenience if not managed efficiently.
PSTG Logistics have a wide range of experience of working with main contractors to produce Traffic Management Plans for construction projects which includes a Driver’s handbook section for issue to all visiting suppliers and trades vehicles which via our automated DMS System is emailed directly upon any new booking to site. This experience ensures we utilise Holding Areas and Safe Waiting Routes which drastically reduce congestion in and around site entrances.
